AFS’s high quality of production is the natural result of a complex production process taking place entirely within the company’s modern industrial facility. It all starts from a meticulous design stage devoted to attaining structural and functional efficiency through innovation; after carefully selecting the right type and grade of raw materials for our products, we carry out cutting and mechanical construction of the frame components with the aid of state-of-the-art software. We then move on to gluing and squaring the frames, followed by an accurate sanding process, carried out both through the aid of automation and by hand. This prepares the frame for a triple-phase water-based painting process in order to achieve impeccable results and high-grade durability.
The painting process is structured as follows:
- application by flow-coating of a coloured impregnating primer, in order to ensure full coverage of the frame;
- application of an additional antifungal, antibacterial impregnating primer (also through flow-coating techniques);
- automated and manual sanding, in order to make the wood surface smooth and even;
- application of the final paint, employing an Airless technique, in order to ensure durability without altering the visual appearance of the wood frame.
Finally, our products are carefully packaged in order to prevent transport-related accidental damage, together with thoroughly planned delivery management.
All our work and recycling stages are devised to be environmentally friendly and safe.
SAFS employs CNC machines and technologically advanced equipment and machinery in order to cut down costs and maximise efficiency for all the stages of production. The company can also count on a 5 000 m2 industrial warehouse, a large exhibition centre, highly skilled contractors and an expanding network of dealers in Italy and abroad.
