CE MARKING

Our products comply with the strictest international regulations and bear CE marking and have been certified by the LEGNOLEGNO consortium.

Resistance to wind load – EN 12211 – UNI EN 12210

The capacity of a door or window to constrain deformation within acceptable limits, preserve its properties and ensure the safety of the user when exposed to strong pressure and/or depression, such as those caused by winds.

UNI EN 12211 testing calls for pressure differentials between the outer and inner sides of the door or window higher than the air permeability.

Water tightness – EN 1027 – UNI EN 12208

The capacity of a window to prevent water seepage in presence of pressure differentials between the outer and inner sides of the window (e.g. in presence of strong winds during rainy weather).

Consequently, according to the highest pressure differential the window is able to withstand before leaking, the window is rated in terms of a performance class as per UNI EN 12208 regulations.

Air permeability – EN 1026 – UNI EN 12207

A measure of the amount of air passed by a completely assembled window when completely shut, in presence of a pressure differential between the two sides of the window.

Rating is carried out according to the UNI EN 12207 standard.

Sound insulation – UNI EN ISO 140-3 – UNI EN ISO 717-1

The capacity of a door or window to isolate from outer noise in terms of a sound reduction index, measured in dB(A) as per the ISO 140-3 international standard.

Our insulating glass units show a sound reduction index between 30 and 32 dB, therefore our standard production will show a sound reduction index not lower than 34 dB.
